Your dedicated Waterloo Attorney

Biography

Danielle earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and shortly thereafter pursued a Master’s in Health Care Administration. During her MHA, she worked as a Research Assistant with professors within the Department of Public Health at Des Moines University; performing research on the impact of community health improvement plans across the state and the health implications of guardianship status. She was selected to present this research on Iowa guardianship implications at Des Moines University’s 2019 Research Day. Following completion of her MHA, Danielle went on to manage an orthopedic surgery clinic in Waterloo, Iowa.

This experience inspired her to pursue a legal career focused on health law and patient advocacy. Danielle earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she was an active member of the Health Law Association and served on the Journal of Health Law and Policy, receiving the “Lead Editor of the Year” award in Spring 2025. Her selected coursework emphasized health law, civil practice, and trial advocacy.

During law school, Danielle worked as a law clerk at Ball, Kirk & Holm, assisting in various matters including plaintiff’s medical malpractice and personal injury cases, as well as at Evans & Dixon, where she gained experience in workers’ compensation defense. These roles allowed her to develop a well-rounded understanding of both sides of litigation and a strong commitment to client-centered advocacy.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
